I loved at first but the search option is awful. If I could pull by date that's be great. It also will say a keyword I type is not going but if I waste 10 minutes and scroll through the keyword is there... And this new update does NOT give me the option to export

I just read where you are shutting down Allo in March. This makes no sense. I use Allo to communicate with my family. I never use messenger at all. I do use Messenger Plus but messenger app I will never use. It's outdated and boring. Why make an app just to shut it down? Google, you are not making sense.

This is a five star app. Why you are retiring it when it has been the best messaging app I have used? You're crazy if you think I am going to switch to messages. I love the app I use for texting as it is very customizable and messages isn't. Also it's getting poor reviews.

Features that I used to have on the app (i.e. "liking" someone's text) have been missing for over a year now. However, my friends who have the same app have the "like" feature. Also, I attempted to use the desktop version but it's "unable to reach phone". I tried both with my phone connected to wifi and also not.

Please, don't kill this app, Google! Improve it! It's not perfect at the moment but, come on, you want us to use Google Messages instead? It's such a dumb app! I prefer my Samsung Messages

This app was fun while it lasted. Now they're going to discontinue it and push you to their messages app, but the Samsung UI is better and I already use that as well. Google should have built their messages app into Allo instead, that would have pulled me from Samsung.
