Calls are good, and the app on Android tv is also good. The only problem is not everybody has android tv with a camera, but Chromecast 1. There should be an option to cast Video and speaker audio to chromecast and just use the phone for camera and mic. 2. Some users just disappear from contact list. Doe this mean they have signed out of Duo on their device? Seems to be a little silly to remove the whole contact for signing out. They should probably be shown as offline or something?

I really do like the app and I use it all of the time when talking to my family and friends! Actually, my 6 year old will ONLY talk to me on the phone using the DUO app!!! My one and only problem, or complaint I should say, is....it "freezes up" sometimes and it's extremely annoying! I am not sure, exactly, if it does that at times whenever the weather is less than favorable

Duo has the best video quality around. Simple and gets the job done. I had some issues with the audio though. When using Bluetooth headsets sometimes the person on the other side won't be able to hear. Also no option to add another person to an ongoing call. Edit: Bluetooth issue still exists and it's random. I have seen this on multiple devices. Also, still no option to add a person to an existing call without exiting and creating a group.

Works as expected when there is a good connection. Makes communicating easier when visuals are needed. Much better than texting pics back and forth. So glad to have something that works across platforms. The only issue I have is my wife and I use the same Google account on all our devices and it gets confused and thinks I'm calling myself. I don't really view this as a problem with the app. She just signs in with her secondary account and all is well.

We live in a very rural area with very poor cell coverage. When I'm outside my wife can call me and my children always access to me over WIFI. I have been using it for 2 years now and I am SUPER pleased with its performance. For a free app you cannot get any better. On the other hand I have not tried a "pay for app" and why would i? This app is perfect for me. 2020 This product continues to improve and impress me. Thank you Google. 9 Jul 2021 Dou is still number one in my books. Thanks Google.

I love Duo! I can even use it to talk to my boyfriend who has an iPhone (🤦🏻‍♀️). I love that you can either allow people to find you by email or phone #.. or NOT find you, based on settings. The call quality is always great. You can create groups for multiple people. Leave messages with text, emoji's, video, etc regardless if you called them or not. You can take pics in the chat. There are cool and sometimes really funny effects. And so much more! And most importantly - NO ADS!
