Since the recent update everything is messed up. Dashes are turned into bullet points & are used to automatically separate lines in the middle of announcements. Announcements are bolded while creating but not when posted. Words are mispelled & separated: when I type "January", it changes to "Jan ary". Classroom stream jumps around with normal scroll. Random words are turned into non-existent web links. UPDATE: Cleared cache, uninstalled then reinstalled, no changes.

This app is fine when it works, but when it doesn't, it's abysmal. My most recent grievance is that it refused to let me into my classes (saying there was an internet issue when I have great internet) and when I uninstalled and reinstalled, it's now not letting me into my account at all, saying I don't have access to it. This is an almost constant thing and it's really irritating to not be able to use Google Classroom on my phone, especially when I really need it.

Been using this for a while just dealing with the bugs that come with it, but recently I couldn't access any of the classes off of my phone. Kept saying to check my internet connection despite me being at full bars on WiFi and data. Uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that would fix it, but it didn't. Now I can't access that account at all on my phone, not just the classes.

I had minimal issues last year but at the start of this year I tried to access my new classes on the app and it wouldn't refresh. Said I had no connection even though I had full service and wifi. I thought deleting and redownloading the app would help but now it said I don't have access and there's nothing I can do to fix this. Incredibly frustrating

Not working with samsung S23 ultra. I can't access my kid's account. I tried logging the account, but it opened upto the images of children with headphones and thats it. It stopped from there and no options to click. Update: Still the same. I can log in thru google browser, but not on the app itself. Using the app, after signing the log in name, it's not showing an option to put the password in. It freezes there.

The app worked fine for a while but broke one day and wouldn't load or let me switch accounts. I tried closing and reopening the app and eventually removed it, hoping that redownloading would help. However, once removed, I was no longer able to install it! I tried all of the solutions to downloading problems Google gave, but nothing helped. I am extremely disappointed, as the app was much more convenient than the website for a mobile phone.

About this app

Classroom makes it easy for learners and instructors to connect—inside and outside of schools. Classroom saves time and paper, and makes it easy to create classes, distribute assignments, communicate, and stay organized.

There are many benefits to using Classroom:
• Easy to set up – Teachers can add students directly or share a code with their class to join. It takes just minutes to set up.
• Saves time – The simple, paperless assignment workflow allows teachers to create, review and mark assignments quickly, all in one place.
• Improves organization – Students can see all of their assignments on an assignments page, and all class materials (e.g., documents, photos, and videos) are automatically filed into folders in Google Drive.
• Enhances communication – Classroom allows teachers to send announcements and start class discussions instantly. Students can share resources with each other or provide answers to questions on the stream.
• Secure – Like the rest of Google Workspace for Education services, Classroom contains no ads, never uses your content or student data for advertising purposes.
