To everyone calling it bloatware; This has been in android since the day it started. Google elected to separate specific elements of the OS into apps so they didn't have to force a whole system update whenever they need to update the app. It isn't bloatware, it isn't stealing your location information, and you don't need to do anything about the app. Just let it be.

My work email (Google) was working fine in my default email app without needing device policy. I updated my Google account password, forced into installing this app, app got into a loop, replacing existing profile and installing new one, randomly opening "settings" with no explanation why. Still can't update password in my email app, tried outlook, didn't work with it either. Forced into using Gmail app, but keep getting "action required" messages, have to replace work profile each time. Awful.

With the latest update is became even more buggy. Keyboard doesn't appear to type pin. If you click on notification and then type a pin - it brings you back to the home screen or to the app which is in foreground now. Sometimes notification stays and you can click it. Sometimes notification disappears and you have to manually launch the app. Pixel6pro android14

This app is to manage employees work phones by their IT Dept. This is brand new Pixel 7a private phone and have never had a work phone and havent worked in over 10 yrs. its just a way to spy on people and gain control over the security, permissions and notifications that the last 3 phones ive had! even turning off phones ability to receive Emergency or critical warnings. only a "nearby device" has that permission .also i keep toggling send google data useage and turns back off

All kinds of permission issue across my device. App that aren't given permission still seem to access things uncheckd. Other app refuse to work at all without being granted permission to things they don't t need. Not sure what's wrong with the Android ecosystem but it is disappointing and frustrating. Thank you

I keep thinking that my pixel phone is hacked now after reading everyone reviews for this app.App appear after 14 update as well other new apps keep forcing to give access to everything. If you tried to block permission but it is grey out. There not way to block app it is allowed to change your system device. I really haven't able to use or access to my Google or other accounts fb. Email contact are gone. Can't find Google phone customer support phone. Google page looks fake not trusted.
