Voice commands while driving are broken. I've been having problems getting Google Assistant to send a text through voice control for weeks now, but even just asking a simple question is impossible. The "Hey Google" is recognized, and then it just locks up and stops listening. Please stop making Assistant worse with every new update. It's unusable, now.

For the past few versions, I have had to attempt to save a picture in Google images multiple times just to get it saved. Ontop of that, almost every time I open the app to do a Google search, an advertisement for the AI created by Google pops up and interferes with whatever I had to look up. Its an ad to join a waitlist, aka something that isn't publically accessible... If it popped up occasionally, that'd be okay but again, it's almost every single time I use the app. This is a recent issue.

What did you do in the last update? It's made my entire phone act strange. Everything used to open slickly and smoothly, now everything is abrupt and stutters to open. For example: opening and minimizing apps is no longer smooth, it's really rough and irritating -- feels clunky and crunchy; the night light turning on used to be a slow transition that smoothly changed the color gradually, now it's either on or of and changes abruptly! This isn't an upgrade, it's horrible!

After the lasted update Google assistant will not longer speak to me out loud when I ask it questions. I have already checked and rechecked all settings. Voice output is selected as my preferred method. Nothing is muted. Everything is turned on. My phone microphone works. This is an issues with Google assistant itself. It's incredibly frustrating because I need it to speak to me out loud. I don't believe I am the only one with this issue.

In a recent update the text is the results is dark and can't be easily read while scrolling. If you stop scrolling for a few seconds, the text slowly fades in so it's readable again. This feature is annoying for people with visual difficulties. Please make this feature optional and tell me how to turn it off. I've switched to Bing until this is fixed.

At one time I absolutely loved this app, particularly using Google assistant. I relied on it for so many things. But it seems like w/ each update features that worked great disappear, and new features meant to replace them don't work as well (if at all), or aren't useful unless you are willing to download yet another app in order for the feature on this app to work properly? Case in point: replacing the Reminders feature w/ Tasks. Tasks thru this app doesn't work! Not getting all notifications!
