Now you can take note any time by just selecting the Dialer Assistant from the notification tray.

Note : There is some permission related issue in Marshmallow phones which has either "Flex" or "Twilight" app installed. Workaround for the permission issue is to pause the either of the two app(which is installed) and then give permission to Dialer Assistant, after that you can enable the Flex or Twilight app.
