Excellent. Although certain features are not as we are familiar and accustomed in Whatsap. Yet I am getting accustomed, oriented and familiarised with the service platform. Kudos for the Excellent attempt by the NIC to offer us a "Make in India" portal. Hoping that the service will get due back room support constantly and promptly, and the updates periodically.

Good experience by my side, 1:- please allow for 18- age, my age is 17.5 2:- when I name type and search bar and come a new line please fix it. 3:- please in icon up only logo 4:- when I filled up my profile and save then I can't see questions answers only see blank. 5:- please make sure to take normal size in text in splash screen 6:- You need to marking for this app. 7 need improvement in icons like ( + ) this. 8:- two or three times click then keyword open

The app is quite good designed. Simple yet almost all the basic features are present. Also, the unique thing in this app is we have a option to add contacts manually, even if some of our contacts are already using this app. This particularly gives more security and safety to the user as he can add only those ppl whom he wants to talk with. This will avoid useless and baseless chatting and messaging and will avoid wastage of time. Great.. Keep updating.. Keep Growing..Nice app overall. 👍🏼..

I downloaded this app as it is Govt app but NIC need to work heavily on the app. Most of the time app remains freezed. UI can be better. NIC is a premier institution so can't expect silly mistakes like new developers. Wish you resolve the issues soon so that I can regularly use the app.

Best in security, privacy and does what a minimalist messenger should do. Also the UI is really good with the dark mode! The call and video feature should be introduced and there should be marketing for this! No one knows about this brilliant messenger! Finally a good app from atmanirbhar bharat. Please make this popular.

Really good initiative from Govt of India. Few functionalities like groups, location sharing & upi can be integrated. Otherwise the layout and functionalities at present are really neat & user friendly

About this app

Sandes is an open source based indigenous instant messaging platform developed by NIC, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India to facilitate instant messaging communication in Government organisations. It is hosted exclusively at Government infrastructure. It supports end to end encrypted messaging and encrypted backup and encrypted OTP service. Its privacy and data policy is governed by rules and regulations of the Government of India. Sandes can be integrated with other Government communications systems for sending encrypted messages without any cost. Currently Sandes is integrated with NIC email, DigiLocker and e-office.
At present, full features of Sandes app are available only to the Government verified users. Employees of Government organisation need to contact the Nodal officer of their Ministry/ Department for verification. For information about Nodal officers write to us at support-sandes[at]nic[dot]in
