Yahoo mail has been causing a ton of problems for me in the past several days. I have deleted the application and reinstalled it many times. Its crashing. Causing my battery to drain on my Samsung phone. I just got this 2 months ago. I contacted my phone carrier today July 15 and was troubled shooting my phone because there was an icon on the top of my phone I did not recognize. Well they didn't either. Now I know what it was. I was instructed to reset my settings. CONTACT ME

Yahoo restricted their mail to just this app, which is a lousy one . The only reason they did that is to put intrusive ads in there. The interface is ridiculous, mail disappears, mail goes into a recent mail folder which doesn't have a mass delete function, so far can't find a setting to show there is mail within. That's just so you have to open the app and see ads even if there is no mail. Shame on yahoo.

Yahoo mail is one of the most convenient as well as effective way of communications where you can despatch and/or receive documents and their attachments. It is like doing deliveries via public transport to a some definite destinations. It is fast and easy to manage, but, its security is very strict. If you are faced with mail authentication issue, you will be locked out and there is no way for you to get your account authenticated even if you have managed to change your password. FRUSTRATING!!!

This app would be good except that 1. I am unable to view images for certain email messages. I am able to view them in other apps but not the Yahoo app and 2. It is difficult to search for messages. I have tried searching by subject and email address. I am only able to find it by logging into my computer. It is also worthless if I can't get any support without paying for the upgraded version.

I continue to have issues with my contacts. After receiving and sent emails, the email addresses are added on to my contacts list. This happens also on my desktop, and on my Samsung Galaxy J4+. Have contacted customer services several times, they suggested to disable enhanced contacts. Which I did, but has not made any difference. Also on your website advises on the issue. Have to to settings, writing email, and disable the box. I can't see the disable box. So not too happy.

I have Yahoo Mail Pro which I use for Yahoo & Gmail but have a problem - cannot remove an obsolete account. When I installed the app, it automatically listed the two desired accounts however it also listed the obsolete account. I tried to follow the online directions for managing accounts but the old address does not show in the list. I have also tried to manage from the web app but it only shows the Yahoo & Gmail. It doesn't affect how mail works but it's annoying.
