I just updated to lollipop on my HTC one M8 that was originally a Verizon phone and I tried to configure the data settings with the app and as soon as I pressed the go button on the app it keeps telling me that my phone is not compatible, and that I should get an unlocked phone. MY PHONE IS UNLOCKED!! I was using it with no problem for a few seconds so I know out works, and Verizon doesn't lock it's phones anyway.

I think it is very rude of you to make a comment like you did about if one is the nerdy type to just cut to the chase. Just because someone is good with computers or what not, does not mean they are the nerdy type. What would you call someone that is not so good doing those things? Stupid? It's not very professional saying things like that. It could really offend someone.

I was freaked out and didn't get it. When I did I can do it in a min. Just go thru 1-6. It automatically copies on and u just go where it says and hold the button and paste...

It worked for me, even though I had to "manually" do it (that is, I had to paste information into like 4 fields, I didn't even have to copy it, it put the right info into the clipboard as I went along) -> awesome. Plz dont freak out if you are "computer settings illiterate", just follow it blindly but be sure to read it, dont skim it!!!

This app did nothing but screw up the data connection on my phone. I'm currently using the default settings and they're working fine now. Uninstalled

But this app was unable to automatically set my data settings. It did offer to walk me through entering them manually, but I haven't tried to yet.
