Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing JaGaRonda on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

About this app

JaGaRonda is a purpose built platform designed to address the unique issues faced by a Resident Association (RA) or Guarded Neighbourhood (GN) and improving their security and communication.

Residents are able to view and track their neighbourhood guards real-time always knowing where they are, or use the Emergency Assist (EA) function to summon guards to their home in the event of an emergency. Additionally, besides the guards, residents can also manage their own group of EA Contacts to include friendly neighbours to help should the EA function be activated.

A common complaint of residents is that the guards fail to do their rounds and “I did not see the guards patrol” , creating tension between residents, committee members and the guards whom may have actually performed their duties religiously. JaGaRonda platform eliminates the “feel” factor, tracking the guards realtime on their rounds, each check-point and displaying that data to residents. Each household will be able to see the number of times the guards has passed by their house as well as each time their house is a check-point on the guard patrol.

The platform benefits committee members by enabling them to send notices to residents in picture or text formats helping to disseminate information in a structured and controlled manner to one, a group or all homes. Using the Dynamic Clocking function, committee members are able to easily create patrol routes for guards easily and instantly.
