I use this app with my Pixel 5, as well as I was using it a little with previous Pixel 3. It is easy to look at battery level or, to turn on/off bass boost and adaptive sound. Yes, I have earbuds wich are better for music (Sony XBA N3 + Ear Studio ES-100). But Google Buds more versatile and useful for everyday life, calling, running training. This app makes using them more convenient.

My ear buds are glitching out just playing music with nothing else. Tried Spotify and Amazon Music, same issue. Supposedly there's a way to update the firmware of the buds from the app but I've been clicking around for 15 minutes and all I've gotten is hammered with "enable Google Assistant" messages. This is by far the worse Google app and maybe product. I just want music to play without screwing up every 20 seconds. A MiniDisk player from the late 90's could do this, why can't a Pixel 3?

Just got my buds today, and I'm having a lot of trouble with dropouts, especially from the left channel. I am on Firmware version 552 and it needs to update, but there's no way to do that manually, and it's frustrating waiting for the automatic update to do its job. So far, I'm somewhat disappointed in the product.

Fit: No issues. Tap Controls: No issues. Battery 1.5 weeks worth of charge for me. Passive Noise Reduction: It’s fine for me. I had a pair of USB-C powered active noise cancelling earbuds once upon a time and yes the noise cancelling was amazing but I don’t miss it. Voice Perfect, no issues. Adaptive Sound Perfect, no issues. Clicking and Static: It's not a thing for me. The buds have a fuller sound than the galaxy buds I have

I had bought two pairs one pair I lost. I have a pixel 3 xl and I get constant cut outs now my left bud won't connect and I have done everything under the sun to fix. Long story short I ended up getting apple airpods pro and they work so much better with my pixel phone than the official Pixel buds two do. I wish I could get my money back but it's better just to move on from a bad product I do not recommend buying pixel buds I even had google Fi so I was fully in the ecosystem.

The app won't show up on my phone even though I have it installed. Not in my app drawer or home screen or anything. Every time I want to open the pixel buds app I have to go to the play store and search for it then hit open.
