Not a real search widget or even a separate browser simply launches your main browser to open a tab and take you to the website. Really disappointed. 😑This is not what people want, put more work into this please!

It just redirects you to the your defalt browser (which is Brave Browser for me) I was thinking it would do something simular to the DuckDuckGo app. But the mere fact that it just goes to your defalt browser it is a waste of space. I guess the only reason why they have to app, is to reserve the spot, at least android phones. Side note, Proton Mail is a way better email service than Gmail. Gmail and Google in general can go and suck it. I'm even thinking of ditching smart phones all together.

This is an excellent, secure, private search app. That's right, I said app. For those of you complaining that the app is useless because it takes you to the web site, there's something you're not getting: if you don't use this app you're going through your browser, which, if it's Chrome, or Google, or any of those mainstream browsers, your still being spied on, tracked, by the US government (NSA, etc). So, either use the app, or use a safe, secure, private browser such as Tor, or Firefox.

Great search engine. Fast loading results because their website is not loaded down with tracking software. I'd love to see a search bar widget in the future to add to android home screen. Keep up the great work!

I like it for the most part but due to the censors I can't even research some standard things so I have to knock several stars off. I was researching a supplement and it said "long term use may reduce sex drive in men" in the article so I decided to search the supplement + "reduced sex drive in men" and it wouldn't let me. Pretty useless search engine when it can't be used to search valid topics because of arbitrary censorship. Will look for a better one I guess.

Super search engine, however this app is not actually needed. It simply open a new search tab in the browser. If you could collaborate with brave to be added as a search engine option this could be a great win.
