This is no joke the best mobile browser. It's the only one that I've found that blocks trackers and ads reliably. As we all know, adblock extensions don't work on mobile. Mobile is also where it's most important to save your data, if you don't have an unlimited plan. I've used brave for a long time. With chrome barely keeping up with Edge nowadays, and edge going all in on AI, having a sensible, privac-first default is a godsend.

GET IT, you won't regret it. Automatically makes watching videos on the biggest video hosting site in the world (yes, THE red one) ad-free by default! Had to do it to 'em, unwarranted demonitizations and multiple unskippable ads were the last straw. It wasn't always this way, and NO I won't pay for a subscription just to make it ad free when I'm already handing over my data.

Blocking YouTube recommended content also prevents you from accessing your playlists on the mobile site. If you finally access a playlist, it won't show you all the videos. Viewing a tweet and hitting the back button does not return you to the same place on the time-line. And Brave is very unresponsive to bug reports. Some of these have been around for years. A lot of extra fluff with a lack luster basic experience.

Best browser and search right now. I use it on every device and computer. Search isn't perfect but it's getting better all the time. I also use Yandex occasionally because other browsers are clearly policing search results due to politics. You can also earn BAT to make having ads in your notifications or by scrolling through the news feed. Very unobtrusive. I've earned over $34 in under 6 months. Better than nothing. Better than Microsoft rewards now.

A chromium based browser with an ad block built in helps a lot. It takes a bit to get used to but it definitely seems to be based on user privacy. The ads it has can be turned off, but if you keep them for a month or more then you can actually get paid to see the ads. The more ads you see (up to about 10 an hour) the more you can earn. As of 12/15/2020 I have used the app for 11 days and don't see myself changing back anytime soon. Edit: 1/04/2024 Still my favorite browser

The ad blocker alone makes it worthwhile. However, one of the recent updates removed the ability to hold down the "back" button to select an earlier page to go back to. This was a great thing, especially when a webpage wants to redirect the back button to the same page you are on. Bring this back, Brave!
