About this app

The Bluetooth Network is a limited range pseudo social media application that's great for two or more persons to communicate and optionally share their location with each other over an average 100-meter range bluetooth connection free of charge.

Features:

- An in-app radar screen that allows users to easily distinguish the position of other members relative to them.

- A situation-based status system that allows a user to display their current status to all other members nearby.

- Free messaging to devices within the bluetooth range of the user's device. The messaging service only requires the user's bluetooth device be turned on and an initial message that was sent to or from the recipient device.

- Send and receive images to and from devices within the bluetooth range of the user's device with no fees or internet connection required.

Permissions:

Location - Used to show the user's position to nearby devices on The Bluetooth Network and calculate the distance and bearing of those devices.

Storage - Used to access the user's device storage in order to retrieve a picture that needs to be sent or store a picture that was received across The Bluetooth Network.
