About this app

Microsoft Skype for Business (or Lync) is an excellent communications solution for businesses and with the mobile Skype for Business client, the solution is even more mobile.

Unfortunately, the Skype for Business mobile client does not monitor the GSM mobile line state which means, that when a user is in a normal mobile (GSM) call, his real presence is NOT reflected correctly in the Skype for Business system. Thus, other users of Skype for Business cannot really be sure of the user’s availability status at all times and therefore threatens to call the user in vain.

With this app it is now possible to add mobile line- and user manually set status information in real time, directly from your SmartPhone into a Microsoft Skype for Business 2015 or Lync 2010/2013 system.

Please observe that Skype for Business Online (Office 365) is NOT supported.

After login the current user availability including his/her mobile availability is reflected on the application. Users can also set their Skype for Business status manually, including adding an absence cause note in the note field.

The following states are automatically pushed to the Skype for Business or Lync server:

- If you are busy in a GSM call => The Skype for Business state will be set to "Busy" adding the text "[Mobile Busy]" to the note field.

The application adds some automation tied to the phone's state, such as the ringer state.

- If the phone is muted (Also via speaker buttons) => The Skype for Business state will be set to "Do not disturb"

- If the phone is on vibrate (Also via speaker buttons): => The Skype for Business state will be set to "Away"

Some of the manual user states will also add a service text to the user note.

New features

LyncMonitor 1.2.4 and 2.1.5
Fix crash when starting on Android M
