For seniors, video calls with loved ones, family photos, email/text messages, medication reminders and check-ins become automatically available on the screen with a simple gadget designed specifically for them.
IMPORTANT...Installing this app requires that an account has already been set up for the famGADGET member that will be using this device. The app will NOT start until the Device ID (determined during installation) is added to the member device setting. Once the member account is set up, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the famGADGET Web Console to do this. Be aware that tablets can be a challenge for the non-technical because of the micro USB battery cable, accidentally touching the Home, Back, Recents, or even the power buttons. Not to mention the side and top menus. We address this with a customized frame on the famGADGET WiFi versions that you will see on famgadget.com, they come pre-configured. But if your senior is somewhat tech savvy, this is a good way to go too. The sooner they become used to the app, the better it will be as they age.
