This means the message has been sent but not delivered
Single grey & double grey tick
Both these means the person you sent the message to has received your message but not read it yet, the reason there is single and double grey ticks determines wherever the person you are messaging has the app running in the back or if their app is killed.. So in short single and double grey ticks mean the same, DELIVERED
Double blue tick
This means the person you sent a message to has read it.
