Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing AdzScreen FREE Version, Adz on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Designed for TV(multimedia TV box or dongle), tablet and phone.
FREE version of AdzScreen from ADZDisplay. Simple to use yet comprehensive and versatile.
Flexible, controllable digital signage/ displays. Used for Taxis, busses, information, tracking, advertising, notices boards, announcements, staff briefing, performance reports, etc. TVs with HDMI inputs are ideal as displays, using Android 'TV boxes' or 'dongles', however AdzScreen can run on almost any modern android device.

Instructions are give for downloading AdzEdit FREE, the PC based editing and control software.
AdzScreen can be located anywhere where internet access is available via WIFI, 3G, etc.
Display updates are downloaded whilst the existing display continues.
Local mode is available where all displays are within a single LAN area. Content is stored locally.
AdzScreen FREE can display:

- Slideshows (Independent, Master and Slave)
- Scrolling slideshows (horizontal and vertical)
- 'Tickertape' (scrolling text),
- Clock, Calendar
- Video
- Text
- Web pages
(AdzEdit FREE only allows one AdzScreen to be controlled at a time.
AdzEdit Standard allows unlimited Displays more images, more slideshows etc.
AdzEdit Pro version adds Maps for mobile, geographic (GPS) updatable content with image, video, text to speech and audio file output. A custom local input facility can also be provided (e.g. cash register input) by special arrangement).
