Decent app as you can book an appointment with the doctor through it-if your symptoms suggest that's what you need (in my case, a telephone appointment initially). The app acts like NHS 111 but easier. I don't particularly like the 'uncanny valley' CGI assistant lady - I would prefer just the questions to pop up, I don't need them to be spoken to me by a fake human...though it does allow me to access services so that's the main thing. You cannot rearrange or cancel appointments through this app

I can't rate or recommend this app unfortunately. None of the hospitals, doctors or pharmacies in my town, or indeed the entire region are participating, save four. There are four participating services in my area (all pharmacies) and the nearest one is 14 miles away. No hospitals, dentists or doctors are displayed for the entire North East! The app is therefore useless and no substitute for 111 or the NHS app or website.

Didn't even get past the first page! I'm partially sighted and have fonts & screen zoom set to large. It appears the quarter of the screen is cut off, so I can't see a text box to enter my postcode and sign up... Very poor for NHS app!

It's very annoying that GP appointments are now split across 3 different apps/websites. There should be a central pool of appointments that you can book through any method rather than having to check in 3 different places.

Based on a single use of the app (I was invited to rate the app at the end of the 'session') I think the IT is good, well executed and easy to use. I am less convinced about the quality of the diagnosis which was to ring 111. In its defence I would say I am experiencing high blood pressure which is sometimes called the silent killer as symptoms are various and sometimes nill. Inviting me to talk to a clinician is the right answer so 5 stars.

Only given one star at the moment as just used app for first time, I must say though the app organised a telephone consultation with the doctor in about 5 mins of giving symptoms app found 3 different appointment times with my doctor, If I were to phone receptionist in the morning as soon as they plug the phone in, I would probably be waiting a good half hour for them to even consider answering a muted phone will see if doctor calls in the morning
