This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Joburg by ComUnity Systems on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

The City of Joburg is trialling a Citizen Engagement Platform which provides mobile application services that revolutionise interactions between Citizens and The City. In this version you can receive personalised notifications based on your profile and report, track and get support on problems with city services like power, water, roads, and other services. Other features include a handy list of emergency numbers and a chat option to a live service assistant.

The more information you share with the application, the more detailed and personalised your services will be.

The City of Joburg invites you to use this trial service between now and 31 October. The trial is limited to 10 000 users, so get your place ASAP. Please provide us with your feedback and suggestions so that we can build the mobile citizen experiences that you need.
