This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TAC-TECH CP on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

TAC-TECH allows participating organizations to receive real-time emergency alerts and notifications.

This app will check your device's email accounts to see if any of them are registered with us.

Features:

- Incident Responding: When a new incident is sent to your phone you can choose to either respond to it or not, if you are responding to the scene you choose if you are going directly to the scene or to the fire house first.

- Incident Navigation: TAC-TECH allows you to get turn by turn voice navigation driving directions to an incident that you are responding to.

- Two-Way Distribution List Messaging: Distribution List Messaging allows you to send out a communication to all the people currently in that list. Then they can either reply to the individual sender or to the entire list again.

Chief Features:

Being a chief you have additional features at your disposal.

- Responders List: As a chief you can also view who and to where a person is responding to. As a responder they can either choose to be responding directly to the scene or they are going to the fire house first.

- To get ScannerRadio to work properly you need to launch ScannerRadio, hit menu and go to settings, click General Settings and enable "Automatically stat Playing" in the list. After that is enabled find your local station in the app and click on it to listen to it. Now every time the app is started, this station will be played
