Running 8.1 @ April 1, 2020 works reliably. Bug with transitioning from free to paid fixed on a reboot of my device. Hope this helps!

Works great for 30mins(even on paid version) to an hour then internet just stops and or drops to a crawl have to disconnect and reconnect would not be as bad if you could set the said and password so the reconnection is just a click on the laptop please fix.

Best app I found that actually works. I use it as a wifi repeater to connect my laptop to a network it can't reach.

Garbage limited to 10 minutes. If you want money put a price tag on it and stop sneaking into peoples search results for free software. Underhanded and disreputable.

didnt work for amazon fire stick. did not authenticate with this devices sim card country, instead reading none, or the sim info from the transmitting cell phone with the data plan.

About this app

Turn your android device to Wi-Fi hotspot to share data/Wi-Fi connection with your other devices.

-Root access required by this app BUT no other configuration required, one tap to create the hotspot and start sharing your internet.
-If you don't have a root access please use my other app NetShare-no-root-tethering

RouterNet app doesn't use the native wifi hotspot which is now blocked in android 6 and above, instead it creates it's own Wi-Fi hotspot using Wi-fi Direct in a new and elegant way to make your device act as a wifi hotspot and wifi extender in the same time using WiFi Direct.
