After not working for ages, with the last update it's now retrieving the unread count - but doubling it. If I have 1 new email, the extension shows 2 unread. If I have 3 new emails, it shows 6 unread, and so on. Fix this issue and it's an easy 5 stars. EDIT: 7/18 update fixed the problem. Works perfectly, thank you!

I have followed all the instructions for use, but I still get "ghost notifications" where it says I have two emails, so I deal with the two emails, but it continues to say I have those two emails. It only refreshes when I get another email, reboot does not affect it

Hey Marcus. Great work on the app, it's been functioning very well for the last week or so but today it's ceased functioning. I will reinstall + let you know if any improvements, but seeing as nothing's changed on my end I just wanted to let you know.

It use to work and it was great. However, at the moment it continually shows that I have 18 unread mails. I know that this is not the case since I went to great pains to make sure that there are no unread mail in any folder. Until this issue is resolved I cannot recommend this.

Sometimes it's accurate, other times it doesn't update for hours, if at all. Disabling it for now and will check back in a few months to see if it improves

Still get stuck email counts, maybe duplicates, even after email is cleared.

About this app

This is app is supposed to be used with INBOX BY GMAIL app... it is not an extension for email accounts / email apps.

It does not work with Exchange.
It requires the GMAIL app to be installed as this app uses the underlay content provider for Gmail to read the emails. (This is because the inbox app does not offer a content provider of it's own for 3rd party developers)

If you are using any Xposed modules or weird root settings and the app does NOT work for you then you are completely on your own. I do not have any root devices to test this kind of settings and I will not root any of my phones in order to test this. If you do have Xposed or root settings or apps that modify APK and system behaviors and the app does NOT work for you please do not leave a bad review saying that it doesn't work.
Thanks
