The Facility Alert System (FAS) is a mobile app designed to transmit critical information to employees and managers of hospitals and healthcare facilities, manufacturing facilities and other large organizations. The system enables designated users to send an alert from any smart phone.

PURPOSE: The FAS is invaluable in the event of critical incidents when sheltering in place becomes necessary, for weather emergencies, and other matters when quick communication is needed.

ACCESS: Download the free FAS app from the App Store, select your facility, and indicate your category to register.

FLASH ALERTS: Designated FAS administrators are able to send alerts to smart phones in the event of an anticipated or actual incident, enabling those on campus to take appropriate action in a timely manner. Alerts can be sent to single groups, multiple groups or all users.

BAD BEHAVIOR: Employees and managers can report problems to a central monitoring system in the event of a threat of violence, theft or other criminal behavior. Reports are strictly confidential.

GET HELP: This function allows individuals to seek help from a certified counseling service for issues such as addiction or suicide. The service is completely confidential.

FREE SERVICE: The Facility Alert System is free to hospitals and healthcare organizations, manufacturing plants and other large employers, and is supported by local advertisers. Facilities may establish an account by downloading the FAS in the App Store.
