Elementary functions missing, no excuse to not implement them, such as: - Does not save the house map. Every time the robot must "learn" again to navigate the house. - Forgets settings. For example at every scheduled or manual start, the fan mode that I have set to "max" resets to "quiet". - Unable to set desided cleaning setting to schedule, to have for example some days cleaning in smart mode, some days in edge mode. Fan setting also not included in schedule. Hopefully the devs are on it.

The functionality is limited. But it does actually have some useful features. Some of the limitations are related to the hardware. Your phone must be set up for 2.4g wifi. This app only connects if wifi is 2.4g at all levels. It doesn't have every setting that the wireless remote has. But it is good for monitoring the vacuum and shutting it down if it's stuck in a place where the remote can't send a signal.

It will not stay connected to the device. The vacuum is great. This app sucks. Have to uninstall it and reinstall it to recognize my device again.

Newer version performance is much worse. The map is so pixelated and cannot set any virtual no-go zones. The robot keeps vacuuming same area all day.

I move from 1 star to 3 after the software updates. Getting better, but the application has still bugs.

I got this app because it's what the manufacturer provided with the Tesvor S6 vacuum robot I just purchased. The robot seems to be pretty good, but this app is awful. It's difficult to use: When initially configuring wifi, if you have a dual band network (like most people) and the device you're running the app on is connected at 5GHz, you will never get the robot to connect with the 2.4GHz band even though that's all the robot supports. I found out through trial and error that you have to configure it with a network that is ONLY 2.4GHz (turning off the 5GHz band at the router is one way to do it). Also, there is no online help, and the functions in the app are not very intuitive. It loses map information: Sometimes the restricted zones I've programmed just disappear. Sometimes the previously traveled path of the robot is gone and after a breakpoint recharge the robot goes back and cleans the same places again, never completing the entire floor. It doesn't update in real time: The robot could be in an entirely different area than what's indicated on the map when it's cleaning, which makes it difficult to find. Looking at the map you might also think the robot is stuck because its indicator hasn't moved in a long time, even though it just hasn't updated. If I had known about these deficiencies at the time of purchase I would have looked for something else. I hope the robot vendor updates to something better. Latest update makes smart clean unusable. The map is always messed up and the restricted zones don't stay in the place they were. Absolute garbage!
