I couldn't find any free version when trying to activate the app. The activation took me directly to a paid choice of yearly or monthly. I paid for a month to check out the app but it didn't function. I am now stuck with trying to get out of this mess and return to my phone carrier's settings, besides being stuck for the $6.00 first month's premium. I'm uninstalling this nightmare as soon as I can get help from my carrier to resolve call forwarding issues. Big mistake. Steve

This App is the best. Now can you design an App. That will block all text messages that come from someone NOT IN MY CONTACTS LIST, as you do with calls? Please. Feb 6-21 Still using this application. It has far exceed my expectations. In the past months I have NOT RECEIVED ONE UNWANTED CALL. That is amazing. I have referred many friend to this app. They are thankful for my recommendation. Keep up the great work guys. And thanks for you making this app available to us.

the app blocks a hell of a lot of unwanted calls! in addition, you'll still get your voicemails even when you run out of visual voicemail. I love this app, because the voicemail service for my carrier sucks.. I had to come back also to say that I have noticed that the number of minutes I have used has significantly decreased now that the app is blocking all these unwanted calls and they're not leaving as many voicemails as they were..

Just won't work. First, I had extreme difficulties even signing up and getting into the app. It took working with support, going back and forth between trying to get set up on the app and creating an account on the website (neither of which Ever recognized each other), having to uninstall the app, reboot the phone, reinstall the app, & start all over again to finally get started with the app. Then, once I finally thought I was through the worst of it, I noticed a warning inside the app that, in short, said that it couldn't block calls without certain permissions. I clicked where it said Allow and got a pop up about a required phone state permission to enable call protection. I clicked, Open Settings, from the pop up and that took me to YouMail's app info page. There was no specific info regarding what I needed to change or enable and nothing I tried resolved the issue. Once again, I contacted support. They had me look for a setting inside the app itself to verify if the directory was already enabled and it was. So, since it was, the support person directed me to go through the exact same steps that I'd had to go through the first time I worked with support: uninstall app, reboot phone, reinstall app, start over. I said, no thank you, I'm not doing all of that again. Clearly this app need some serious work. Also of note, to deactivate YouMail through the app, it used one code. The support person gave me 3. Why the discrepancy? I jused the app to deactivate because that's what worked for activation, as opposed to putting in the codes myself, which did nothing. But, since, there is a discrepancy, I don't know for sure if it worked so I'll be asking a family member to call and leave me a message in a while to make sure my voicemail is working properly after removing YouMail.

my Verizon VM doesn't work. After sending many, many hours on the phone trying to solve the problem, I switched to YouMail. It works perfectly! No hassles, visual VM, email notifications...what's not to like! Such a relief to have functioning VM after 3 phones and years of hassle with Verizon.

App has been great! I have no issues with my phone, I use it on Verizon network and no issues. You can change the voicemail greetings for spam caller, or individually. I needed to delete it for moment and no issues returning to my carrier voicemail. I noticed as soon as I deleted it my phone was bombarded with spam calls the same day. This app really does work!
