This used to control my Estlink wall plug sockets but now even their connection with Alexa has gone. They can however work with the SmartLife app as detailed by Mark Venings review. To do so, plug in the Estlink plug and press & hold the power button in the middle for over 10 seconds (five seconds gets the red light fast blinking, 10 seconds gets the red light slow blinking). Once the red light is slow blinking, open SmartLife app, click the PLUS (+) in the top right hand corner and choose Socket (WiFi). Select your network and password and press Next. On this screen, it asks you to reset the device. (If the red light is slow blinking, no need to). In top right hand corner, change EZ mode to AP mode. Press next and follow instructions to link to Sockets WiFi - which will show as SmartLife****. The app then finds and adds the device and reconnects it to Alexa if the skill has been enabled.

This app is dead. Check Mark Vening's previous useful comment. I would also add one similar working app to Mark's list: Tuya In my case I didn't get it working with fast blinking mode (Open WiFi hotspot). I had to add local WiFi in the app and allow location as well. Then turn on the Outdoor Smart Plug and then I found it with Auto Scan functionality.

I am giving it 2 stars because it does work (only on my ios devices). My main device is my Galaxy Note series phone and it crashes on open EVERYTIME. I dont want to have to get my sons ipad or wife's iphone everytime i want to use the app.

Been working for couple of years. Plug dropped connection a couple of times, now plug disconnected and not found, app totally not working. Tried everything. Nothing is working. FAIL!

was previously working without issue, however now does not function. As numerous others mention, it will not even open, just crashes immediately. seems the app hasn't been updated since 2017, that's a shockingly long time and probably makes it susceptible to malicious intrusion. I'm strongly considering a different device and app

App no longer works ... but found solution. My device (a 3 socket outdoor plug from Koolertron) originally shipped with this app to control it, but when I tried to reconnect it for holiday lights this year, I found the app would crash as soon as I started it. I did some research and learned the Smart Life app by Tuya would control my device. I was able to quickly configure that app and get it recognized by Google Home, and begin using my device again.
