This app is basically worthless...the free version anyway. I can sometimes get 20 spam or robo calls a day that do not get blocked. I have to go through all of them and manually block them. These callers think they're slick by using a local number...they're even the same first three numbers as my phone number. And they NEVER get blocked!! Looking around on the app is a joke. There are no choices in settings. It takes you right back to "Subscribe" when you try to navigate around the app. Boo!!

Absolutely worthless. The phone rings and you pick it up only to see the call screen say "BLOCKED - MEDIUM RISK" or somesuch. If the call was blocked, as you say, then why is my phone still ringing? Looking through the Verizon forums, this doesn't appear to be a rare issue but of course Verizon customer support is terrible and speaks in circles as they're not really interested in solving any issues people have with their terrible products.

This is junk! Had the plus version before I upgraded to a new phone & plan. This version don't do anything. Don't know why the plus version didn't transfer to this new phone. Z'up verizon....I'm still paying for the plus. Either put it on this new phone or take it off my bill so I can get a app that actually does what it says.

This service is helpful in reducing the amount of unwanted calls. More people need to use it and ensure they are reporting unwanted calls more often. If the calls aren't reported to Verizon via the app, then Verizon can't do anything to reduce the calls. Do your part and report unwanted calls via the Verizon Call Filter app.

honestly, it took me a while to get used to this feature but now that I have I really like it. NO ONE gets through this filter unless they are in your contacts. it blocks EVERYTHING...even calls you're waiting for. for example. if you go to the doc and are expecting a call back with results...make sure you ask what number they will be calling from and adding it to your contacts. if you dont...the Verizon filter will block it. it let's you know after the fact that it blocks it...but it's blocked

I still get scam calls and text messages on a regular basis. The free version only works partially if any at all. You have to pay for the service then they add on tons of fees for apps that should be a part of the service to begin with. We need a Consumer Protection Board to protect us from this out of control capitalism.....oh wait, we have one, another useless Federal Agency to fund.
