UPDATE: I have gone through 4 phones and this app is the same. The graphics work. That is the only good part. It is still slow as molasses. You never know how long it is going to take to work. And having to rotate your phone for it is ridiculous. It hasn't been updated since 2015. They obviously don't care. I would never pay for this again. A complete waste of money. It had great potential though it was never realized.

It worked all last year and then up till the update this year. Now it will not bring up my units. I don't want to have to write a bad review on amazon. Please fix this asap

Unfortunately most people bought Friedrich units for mobile features and Friedrich had not committed to fixing the issues. Aside from the dated app, the main function of the mobile interface does not work anywhere close to as smoothly as it should.

Seriously for an exclusive and expensive window AC unit...your app is lagging in almost every aspect! The rotate to control limitation is really dated and you've obviously no intention to improve it (last app update in 2015). Very disappointed with my purchase. You could at least open your system to IFTTT support so that other users could create better apps and provide functionality into Google Home, Amazon Echo, SmartThings or other current devices. Shame on you for tricking us into the purchase of your $700+ units.

It really bothers me that it was a selling point of the unit, AND there was an extra charge for the WiFi adapter, and still there's no support or maintenance on the app. It only works about 20% of the time.

It thinks my android needs to be rotated. Garbage app can even tell that i have rotated my pho e. Cant access ac controls through this app because of the message overlay.
