This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MobileNation CMAS on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

Receive emergency alerts on your Android phone to keep you and your family safe wherever you are.
The MobileNation Commercial Mobile Alert Service (CMAS) Application enables MobileNation members with an Android phone and data plan to receive geographically-targeted, text-like messages alerting them of imminent threats to safety in their area.
Authorized national, state or local government officials send alerts regarding public safety emergencies, such as a tornado or a terrorist threat.
Alerts are geographically targeted, so a member living in Jackson would not receive a threat if they happen to be in Houston when the alert is sent.
Members will receive three types of alerts:
1. Alerts issued by the President
2. Alerts involving imminent threats to safety or life
3. Amber Alerts
Members can opt in (default) or out of any or all alerts except for Presidential Alerts. Subscribers can also change the alert ringtone for each type of alert with the exception of Presidential Alerts.
This application is FREE.
