I have tried DCE ver 2.2.0 on my android ver 7 mobile and faced the same result, i.e. it stuck at auto photo capturing despite of the repeated message Smile at the camera. I kept waitIng for 20 minutes but it did not move forward. I suggest that the auto photo capturing may also be made manual as is in the case of Identity Card. Thanks

I have completed the UNJSPF Digital Certificate of Entitlement successfully but when I want to take my picture it stuck at 9٪ percent. I tried lot of times but still can not done. I am trying again and again to take my picture. I don't understand what is the problem. Thanks God my DGC approved and I got the email of Confirmatin. I AM UNABLE TO ISSUE DIGITAL CE FOR 2021 EXERCISE. TRIED SEVERAL TIMES TO GET DCE AFTER SUCCESSFULY COMPLETED THE DCE AND VIDEO CALL ON 10 MAY 2021. Not success .

Photo taking during DCE issuing still stucks at 9% even with the latest version 2.2.0. We tried so many times at different hours all day and 2 days had passed with no success here in Bangkok suburb. After reading other reviews, I found that it really might be a problem with android phones; mine is Samsung A9. Also another mentioned something about synchronizing new biometric data with the earlier photo taken during enrollment. That could be a big problem indeed. Pls fix these issues soonest. Tks

I made it work! Rather the nice lady in Spain did. She could not hear me (not my fault she said) but used her initiative and telephoned me also. Is the problem with photographing for the certificate that you have to align your irises exactly with the icons? Mine worked eventually. John Little.

The updated digital CE version 2.2.0 is seamlessly compatible with Android and easy to use. The camera issue is resolved. At last, I've managed to enroll and recieved a video appointment date.

There is a problem with this app. When we tried to open the camera to scan, it crashes. We have tried s21 and a71 samsung phones, both didn't work. reinstalled the app but no luck! Please fix this issue. Or let us know alternative way of submitting!

About this app

The current paper-based process for the UNJSPF Certificate of Entitlement to prove a retiree’s/beneficiary’s eligibility for continued pension caters to over 70 thousand retirees and beneficiaries located in more than 190 countries. As it uses postal services, the process is very slow and cumbersome.

The App uses facial biometric technology, liveness check and geo-location to submit a Digital Certificate of Entitlement to a secure blockchain. Use of location makes it possible for retirees and beneficiaries paid under the two-track to also use the app.

All user data is stored securely either in the App or in data centres protected by UN Privileges and Immunity. No cloud-based services are used for processing of user information.

The paper-based CE will continue to be an option for the retires/beneficiaries who cannot/ do not want to use the app.
