Because of the update,I stopped using samsung notes. I ALWAYS used it because it was easy to edit, and had varieties of colors while drawing. It had unique tools, NOW they gave me random types of highlighters (7 that are USELESS,)one brush and one pencil. The brush is like a normal brush, but before the update, you had a brush that blended colors, spray paint, a normal brush, a crayon, (1) highlighter, a pencil, and marker. I also cant access my old notes >=/. Dont get the new update!!! 😤

Very buggy. I went past the bugs but accidentally I put a personal note that had a list of games I wanted to try. (I know silly that sounds but it was important to me and I've been making the list for over a year now) in the trash. I thought "hey no problem ill just take it out of the trash." So I did but whenever I tried to open it said "file corrupted" I tried everything to get it back no luck. I have the setting set to save my notes to my Samsung account. That didn't work either. Great app. After trying out a few of the other note taking apps, I have settled on this one, since it provides the best writing experience in my opinion. I use it to write out homework problems as well as annotate textbooks. I have a few suggestions. One suggestion is an option to pin the favorite pens on the bottom and have a separate toolbar along the bottom of the screen. I also would think it would be helpful for there to be a view that puts two pages side by side when viewing a book/document in landscape orientation. Lastly, I would appreciate it if the notes app can import notes directly from cloud drives such as OneDrive directly from the notes app, rather than needing to go through the OneDrive app and download from there. These are just small suggestions from me. Thank you a great app!

Samsung Notes has all the good functions you need in a writing program. And it autosaves once you go out of it (click back). I use it to write stories on for ex. And sort the texts easily into folders to keep it tidy. You can sort by tags too. Choosing dark or light mode as you wish. I noticed recently that even when the battery died, all the unsaved text was still there after turning it on again. which means less losses of text if you simply forgot to click back to save when something happens.

I hate that it saves automatically. If you accidentally erase something it's gone. I had some measurements for a shelf in a shopping list and accidentally erased them when I was erasing the item below, which had been purchased. I've accidentally erased part of a note before, it's extremely frustrating. I try to be careful, but unless you go one letter at a time it erases very quickly.

it comes so handy. I use it everyday and the widget makes it even more accessible for me to use. the only thing is that if it's in dark mode, it should be easier to switch back to light/normal mode. I say this because the text color stays white and then I end up looking at a doc thats blank lol, so it should come with the mode that the text color changes to back to black.
