The app works good. Only ONE very annoying problem though: I do NOT understand how they thought putting the dictation microphone icon within the document was a good idea. It is SO annoying, especially since it blocks part of what I'm typing. Give us the option to remove or at least move it. Come on, man. How is something so sensible not allowed?

I have a few issues with this app: First, the app doesn't save my preferred font size, so I almost always have to change its automatic 11 font size to 12. Second, I have to press minimize on this app twice because it doesn't work the first time. And when it does get minimized, my phone's homescreen takes a few seconds to load. Third, the features that are supposed to make typing easier actually make it more difficult for me. For example it auto inserts more bullets, numbers, etc.

It is a useful app for school but it is not always the best. When you are trying to use a different font size, if you accidentally go back to something already typed in font 11 it will make you reset your font to size 16 when you return to what you are typing. It is also a pain to add colour to the font, for the same reason. The other thing that doesn't always work is the autodave feature. Occasionally it will simply not save, and you have to foot manually. Other than those, it has worked well.

It's funny how this app is packed with way more features but I can't use it, because it's removed the outline view that used to be available with the Office app of 2013. Update: The Headings function is back, though not as efficient as it once was. The 2013 app is also a lot faster. This version has a typing lag, even when the Autosave is off.

I would be lost without this app. I'm in school and there is a preferred font for my work so there's no trouble there. That said,, the auto-save is great, I love the spell check, and the thesaurus really helps, but the dictionary needs of work. Sometimes it doesn't give the definition of a word that's pretty straight forward and you're just checking to make sure you're right. That's my only complaint and not enough to not use the app. So, I'm happy with it!

I've been using this app for a number of years mainly to create my weekly newsletter for my art group and it is reliable and easy to use. Just like the full size Word. The only really annoying thing is the way the screen always adjusts size and you have to recorrect how big or small you want it and the need to remember to move up or down on the left side of the screen or you activate the inbuilt mover and it is faster than you are. But the basics of building a document are all there. Enjoy.
