This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Symbio® Service & Installation on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. About this app

The Symbio® Service and Installation free app has all that you need to start up and service a Symbio 700 controller without a PC or other software service tool.
The app connects a Symbio 700 controller using Bluetooth BLE or Trane Connect Secure Remote Access when available.
Using the app, you can
• View the equipment status, alarms, and diagnostics
• Configure the controller to match the installed equipment options,
• View and edit setpoints and other operational parameters,
• Configure the controller to communicate to a BAS or Trane Connect for remote access
• Back up and restore controllers and update firmware from a USB drive

• Ability to update Symbio 700 license from Basic to Advanced with a file located either on a USB stick or on the phone.
• Ability to navigate to Trane Equipment support page for non-specific information.(support.trane.com)
• Trend Data - Incorrect percentage scaling datalogging issue.
• Trend Data shows significant overshoot.
