About this app

KSHRs objectives:
1. Raising awareness among the people about international human rights issues, especially the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and international covenants on political, economic and civil human rights, social and cultural rights, as well as other charters and the human rights established in the Constitution of Kuwait. KSHR stands to the defense of all individuals and groups whose rights are violated with respect to what is stipulated in the Constitution, national and international laws, covenants and charters. The means and methods used to achieve these goals are consistent with these goals. 2. Working with legitimate means, through legal channels, to respect and promote the human rights and fundamental freedoms of all Kuwaitis and other persons on the territory of Kuwait. The society aims to stop human rights violations in Kuwait, regardless victim’s origin, and cooperate with the responsible government authorities to ensure the prevention of such violations.
