This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Thuraya Talk on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

I live in Africa where in many areas of my country, there is no GSM coverage. Therefore we can communicate back to the base with our Thuraya handsets to a smartphone with this app loaded. The App was installed very fast (it is only 14Mb) and we received the code within less than 20 seconds (for Africa this is a record). Therefore in about 90 seconds we had a Thuraya number where our clients or field personnel could reach us. This is great! Voice is clear and job done By the way, it is way far cheaper to call Thuraya from this App! Try it. Fully recommended

Bitter experience sharing: yesterday I installed & activated it. Before purchasing balance, I tried to check its incoming call & SMS service, So I called on it from my mobile phone. It rang but I did not attend the call & disconnected. It was surprising to know that that I was heavily charged for an unattended call. Then I sent SMS on it and it did not reach even being charged. So I decided NOT to proceed any further & Uninstalled it.

Im not receiving the registration code for the app i have tried almost every avaliable mobile number that i have adding + or 00 followed by my country code and afterwards my cell operator code followed by my number. In short notthing... 😡😡😡
