SLIM™ Personal is a mobile app used by building staff members to communicate with 911 dispatch and law enforcement in real-time during an emergency event.

This app requires a valid account and login credentials. These would be provided by your school or your business/corporation. Without these, you will not be able to use any of SLIM's features.

An enormous challenge exists when an emergency event calls for a building lockdown. The problem lies in the lack of information available to law enforcement tasked with protecting lives and property.

To address this challenge, SwiftReach has launched SLIM™ (SwiftReach Lockdown Incident Management), a system which provides staff with immediate access to emergency personnel using the mobile app or text message from any mobile phone. Instant access to information and immediate visibility are vital for law enforcement to take appropriate actions as seconds become critical.

SLIM™ Personal displays a panic button used to trigger building lock downs or other types of incidents and provides a “check-in” function. The check-in function is used to display room location, room status, the number of people and medical status of the people in each room to incident management.

Once the panic button is pressed, the SLIM™ system is configured to send text messages, voice calls and/or emails to building occupants, 911 dispatch, first responders and/or the public with specific instructions based on the nature of the event.

The active incident view allows you to send messages back and forth with incident management. The incident manage can provide you and the rest of staff with information on what to do and where to go in real-time. If you move locations you can send an updated location. You may also change the status of the room you are in. Photos can be taken on the scene and sent with a note to incident management as well.

You can also view a floor plan showing all the rooms on your floor. You can change the floor plan to view other floors on the building. These floor plans can be zoomed and panned on the screen making it easy to find your way to safety.

SLIM™ Personal enables live, bi-directional communication between law enforcement and those personnel detained by the incident using their existing mobile phones. This app may help save you in a life threatening emergency incident.
