This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing UoS SMS Analyser on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

About this app

This application has been developed as a research tool for a project in mobile text input for older adults.
After a brief questionnaire, it examines your sent SMS folder and calculates the following statistics:
* total sent SMS
* average words per sent SMS
* average characters per sent SMS
* total spelling mistakes in sent SMS

Upon completion of the questionnaire and analysis, you are given the option to anonymously submit this data to our secure server, so that you can help us with our research!
