I tried to use this app but I can't get it to work and so entrepreneur told me that it can't be used for vp calls.

The app is alright for incoming calls, but I'm upset that I can't call my deaf friends through wavello. I have many older deaf friends who dont use tablets/smart phones so as to contact them on other apps, such as WhatsApp. I think it crazy that I should have to wait for them to call me through wavello. I also find it silly/spinning my wheels to call them on Sorenson and tell them to call me so I can see them on Wavello. Maybe this is my view as a hearing person IDK... Responding to Miranda Wessel's post, Miranda, you are spot on (I'm a hearing person as well). I think the concept of the tool is excellent, but I feel like it's also a step back (or maybe a step off) from a fuller deaf/HOH => hearing conversation. If each party had the ability to initiate the call though whatever device that party uses (ie: a Chromebook, such as myself) it seems that that would be fuller environment for both parties. (Or, somehow add the interpreter's presence to, for example, Google Meet meetings, or Zoom meetings. All that's needed would be a means to invite an interpreter to the meeting ... perhaps by sending a "join this call" type of message to a single ID which would be a pool of interpreters. And this would totally eliminate ANY device dependence from ANY of the 3 parties. If there's a browser on a person's environment, that's the common thread for the tool I don't think your view is off at all.

That's good but I can't hear very well when I have the phone away from my ear looking at the person I'm talking to. But I probably will learn how to do that.
