Used to be a fantastic app but now it has many flaws. I still use smart tags for a few things like calling up most used apps easy or writing to the NT3 for quick data transfer. But now I have to tap the screen to open and sign into an account, Which won't let me use existing account, or outright refuse to work. I have only a couple of devices working but even then it's not automatic. Needs a serious update or a whole new smart connect to keep up with the times.

Used to be great on my Xperia Z5 Compact but since upgrading handset to an xz1 compact (and android operating system) it just doesn't work. All I want is to get in the car without having to get out my phone and press play! The notification to say it's active is annoying but I'd live with it if it worked. It doesn't disappear even when nothing is 'switched on' 🤷🏻‍♂️. Shame really as I really liked this app 😔

Tried to use with one of the older sony LiveView "smart" watches. Not a chance. The app is unable to scan and relies on the android system settings, which of course does not pair with sonys proprietary closed standard. As the device list only contains entries for chargers, headsets and bluetooth loudspeakers, it is impossible to use this app with anything not on the list.

Functionality reduced on Xperia 1 ii as compared to the older Xperia Z3+ (less triggers and actions). Doesn't allow to select a specific Bluetooth device from the list of paired devices. Cannot switch on/off Mobile Data. Screen brightness setting (set to minimum, disable adaptive brightness) doesn't work either.

Meh. I realise this is no longer being updated and it painfully shows this upon running, all of the functionality has been absorbed into stock android now. I guess if nothing else it shows Sony were ahead of the curve.

Fixed the texting issue but now it defeats the purpose of automatically starting an app if you still have to click on it to start it. Still like the app for other reasons though. Find a work around fix tapping notification starting of app and ill give you 5 stars.
