Thank you so much for this! I don't understand why this is not (an option) in the other full-fledged contact apps. Or in the stock app, for that matter. However simple or difficult it may be, you did it just right! Thank you! I was giving people names like: Peter Sellers Actor 140 World Trade... so... thanks for giving these people back their christian names! a big help, really!

Installed to have back what I had in GB, that Google stupidly took from me with KK: search my contacts by typing part of the number. Still would love to see the compatible contacts while typing and not just after clicking search button. Great anyway.

You have to use the Google search rather than the native contact search to search in phone numbers. The computer based search in Google contacts smartly ignores spaces. This app only does literal (dumb) searches. However still better than the standard facility.

Does what a search should do when searching contacts. When I get my results, I choose the contact, that persons info comes up. With Google search for contacts, name comes up when I select that name a completely different contact shows, that isn't even related to my search. Great app. I highly recommend. Thanks.

I don't know why most handsets still are not capable of finding a contact by typing a phone number. Technically this shouldn't be a problem. Anyway... This app do fill the gap. Thumbs up...

Includes powerful search modes including a true AND search that works across categories.

THERE IS A PAID VARIANT, full details of which can be found on the developers website (click the link below if browsing through the market).
