This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SMS Express App For Android on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. The SMS Express smart phone app is a stripped-down version of our bulk SMS cloud platform at www.smsexpress.com.au .

In order to use this app, you must create an account with SMSExpress.com.au and purchase credits via the cloud platform, otherwise you cannot change the SenderID on your phone.

The app is limited to 160 characters and does not render Unicode (we hope to fix this soon).

It does not have the full functionality of the cloud platform, so for large broadcasts, or personalisation, we recommend staying with the full website platform and NOT using this external app as you will find it limiting.

This app caters for our customers who prefer using the contacts on their mobile phone handset rather than logging into the full website.

As an SMS Express customer you also have full access to the cloud platform plus full use of the app.
