Basically, this is a very good messaging app. It does provide a pretty good library of animated Pictures (GIFs) which makes this app fun to use. My only issue is that there does not seem to be a way to delete multiple messages. Amendment 5/29 I discovered that if you long press a message, you are then able to do the same with other messages, therefore being able to delete multiple messages. This now gets the 5th star!

Two days earlier I received an invitation from Google to enable chat feature of message app. I enabled it but after two days when I checked, it says your device is not supported right now. I dont know what happened in two days. And they disabled the chat feature of message app. I am very fond of this app. So, rectify my problem ASAP.

Í like messages better than messenger. Its easier and not as complicated. Too much to do just to send a message and you cant deliver a photo without complications. Ill take messaging above messenger. Using messaging is very important to me and I wont change that. Messenger is for younger folks. I like things easy and messaging delivers what I like. Thank you.

I have been a long time paid user. The one feature I cannot live without is the ability to make certain peoples messages continue to alert you until you answer. I use this for my wife and business partner so if I dont hear it, I will when I get to a quiet place. Now for the request: PLEASE make a web app for this. I would pay extra to have this feature. Right now, if I want to copy some text, I have to switch apps to messages which doesnt have all of the great textra features, so i have to switch back. I really need to be able to copy messages and respond from my computer rather than pick up my phone all the time.

This App is very good, and Messages for web is very very useful to me, because I send lot of text sms to my contact. But the main problem i face, when I send a text message to multiple contact, automatically it show me MMS rather than SMS. Please fix bugs & please reply. 2. If U please add lock app like pin, pattern, or fingerprint. Please add these features to my favorite app.

In my opinion, Google Messages is highly preferable over my former default, Verizons Message+ - especially given the RCS rollout, which I just received. I do have two suggestions - first, as other reviews have noted, a Scheduled Messages feature would be quite useful. Second, the repeated toast notifications that appear when selecting and deselecting messages in a conversation can be a bit much.
