About this app

The IntelyseYou app is a tracking solution application that utilises the location capabilities of devices to determine location. The application sends location reports, panics, and check-ins to the management platform.

The application sends an emergency message in any situation using an available channel, either using internet data or via SMS message, which is then translated into the platform for notification and immediate response from our Operations Centre.

IntelyseYou is also capable of buffering messages, including position reports, check-ins, and keep alive information, which are all sent once connectivity is restored.

Core Features:

SOS PANIC ALARM
· An intuitive panic button enables immediate alerting for quick response. When the SOS activates, 30-second location updates are sent, the platform is alerted, an email report is sent, and an automatic voice call to a predefined emergency number is dialled.

SMS REDUNDANCY FEATURE
· When the panic alert button is triggered without an internet connection, an SOS SMS message upon user’s consent will be sent to the management platform. SMS redundancy is critical for the app as it provides security to travellers in emergency and life-threatening situations. In case of an emergency, a dangerous situation, and when internet coverage is unavailable, the app must rely on the SMS channel to send emergency information to the Operations Centre where safety measures are taken to mitigate risks concerning the travellers.

IN-APP MESSAGING
· Two-way messaging between IntelyseYou app and management platform, support monitoring, and emergency communications.

MANUAL CHECK-IN
· App users can also create a manual check-in, which sends location information and a check-in notification to the management platform.

PERIODIC REPORTING
· The frequency of reporting is preconfigured. The app sends a location update every 15-minutes when moving and 1 hour when static.

New features

A number of fixes to support the changes in Android 13 and up:
- Fix Background Tracking issue caused by changes in Battery Optimization
