About this app

We are introducing this app and several other similar apps as part of our long deep and strong commitment to use technology to support and help democracy, freedom of expression, and human rights activists and opposition/supporters against oppressive military/royal dictatorships, and highly corrupt regimes.

This app is completely free (no any kind of in-app billing), no ads, and does not collect any personal/private information or data, and/or transmit any data or info what so ever. Also, we do not have any third party to do that job for us.

This is a fully featured Internet browser based on the source code of Google Chromium browser. The popular Google Chrome browser is mainly based on the source code of Chromium. This app can work alone as a regular internet browser, and can work to work with our free MirageInternet app to provide Tor capabilities which will provide the best current privacy and anonymity on the Internet. Tor will enable the user to access blocked websites in his/her location by their local oppressive regimes.

The user needs to install our free MirageInternet app for Tor service, set up the app as described in the app listing, and start first the Tor service. The user can then start this app. The user will see a message that this browser is using the Tor network. The Tor network will time-out if the user does not use it for sometime. To use the Tor network again, the user will need to restart the device and start our Tor app again. A root device is needed for this app to work with the Tor app.

This is a large app, and uses multidexing to get around the small size limitation for android. Therefore, it will run only on android 5+. If the user tries to run it on android 4, it will crash.

Important Note:

It is recommended that the user should go to the settings in the menu. Go down to the privacy section, and click on user agent, and choose one of the options, except the first one (TorBrowserBundle). The user can change the user agent as often as would like. The use will need to restart the app or device after each change. The user might also need to enable scripts in the menu to access some websites , as they are disabled by default.

If the user likes the Firefox browser experience, check our app called MazeBrowser with the Tor capabilities.
