Works great, but I'm confused. Does this connect to my Alexa account? My Echo Dot is in use, while this app is doing something else with no interference. It's almost like having a second Echo!

Very convenient when out vocally out of range of the Alexa. e.g. When in the bathroom or kitchen where Alexa is to far away to hear you or it's to loud and noisy!
