My Moto G6 phone will NOT call many numbers, unless it is connected to Wi-Fi, regardless of the data signal strength. I have reached out to Republic repeatedly, however, they have yet to solve the issue. I consider this a major problem, and though they have tried, they have yet to correct or explain why it's occurring. No issues when connected to WiFi, but if I turn off Wi-Fi or go mobile and lose Wi-Fi, then the "fun" begins. 1 Star

We have been happy customers since about 2014 but since we got our new cell phones our service has been terrible. I switched from a Moto G5 Plus to a Samsung A51 and saw a huge difference in my ability to use my mobile data and sometimes unable to make calls in areas that I had no problem before. Plus I'm often on roaming data now when no wifi. A few months later my husband switched from his original Moto G (almost 7 year old phone!) to a Moto Play and started having the similar experiences.

Update is terrible, can't turn off cellular data for the app, because it's removed from the settings, and they recommend to do so from the phone, which interferes with the phone actually being able to call.

Some texts from me have began to come from a completely different number wether I use SMS rather than regular texting. If I'm texting my boyfriend and the text isn't going through, if I switch to SMS, he will receive that text from a completely different number he doesn't have saved. And if he calls that number, I receive the call, but that's not my number. On the RW app there is no mention of me having two numbers, so I don't know why this has just started, but it's very wierd.

No service unless you pay for data.... Won't send texts even when you are on the network keeps saying on cell but only for calls. This is an ongoing issue as it has been happening for years.

It's great but I still have an issue that I've tried to resolve but seemed to get the same answer each time. Activation promts show up on my screen occasionally when I open the republic app. Whenever this happens, I can't send or recieve messages or calls. This should be fixed by now and I'm positive that it's not my phone because how could it still happen when I did a reset and followed all the ticket instructions as well. Though besides this one annoying glitch, everything else seems great.
