Updating from v2.0.48.4 to v2.0.49.1 has caused audio to stop working in the MLC app on the android devices at our hospital. Unfortunately this is our clinical staffs primary method of on campus mobile communication. The app consistently had issues on iOS (no longer supported) after updates and it appears to be the same story on the android version as well. If you use this application and need it to be reliable, never allow automatic updates for the app in your environment and test every new version you plan to rollout before letting your devices update the app.

current version 2.1.0.8 - but also happened on previous version I have this on both my laptop and desktop it would work, then it just stops The application will not play audio - when i don't connect a headset on my desktop when I click to go into voice mail it has a partial ring then nothing. You can tell with headset it clicks like it wants to and nothing. Why is garbage like this allowed to be deployed in a work environment? I need this software to do my job and it just plain doesn't work. Google Voice is free and has no issues - my company has to pay for our phone systems and this is what they give me to use. Come on NEC Please - I NEED this software to work, as I am sure others do. There are enough bugs with it to trouble shoot and figure it out!

Disappointing app, never works on Wifi, only works half the time on data. Calls don't connect, app stays off off line 80% of the time. Seems odd that a communication company can't make a communication app that works.

I would like to recommend this app, but I can't. I also can't deploy it to my users. Whenever a call comes in, it defaults to speaker on my device. I can change the audio source, but it's cumbersome when I'm trying to answer a call (2 swipes, 2 taps before I can talk). Our executives will never go for performance like this. I running the app on a Samsung Note 8, Android P, Verizon network. Please let me know if there's anything I can contribute to help solve this issue.

Extremely Disappointing - Used for work - Clients can't understand what you're saying. Horrible connection. Crashes consistently. Drains battery quickly. Randomly starts ringing in your ear while attempting to talk to clients. Not efficient for transferring calls. Pros - Good for checking and clearing voicemail. Thats about it. Would rather use my regular cell than the app.

Extremely disappointed in this MLC app and our NEC SV9100 phone system in general. MLC app extensions don't stay connected to system and require frequent device restarts to reconnect (like hourly). We also have an IP extension that hasn't worked from day 1. Could you run your business like this?

About this app

Mobile devices are a mainstay in today’s businesses and usage only continues to grow. Employees have traditionally relied on mobile devices to stay connected, but this has always meant that an employee has to distribute a separate phone number to ensure that business associates or customers can reach them when they need to be reach. This also results in management of multiple voice mailboxes which decreases productivity and increases the chances of a message not being heard in a timely manner.
MLC (Multiline Client) is a NEC proprietary SIP client that registers to your NEC voice platform (UNIVERGE SV9100/9300) and enables your smart phone or tablet to act like your office phone. Providing a user friendly interface that NEC customers are accustom to
.
Make/Receive calls from your NEC UNIVERGE SV9100/9300 voice system over your corporate Wi-Fi network or use a VPN connection on your Android devices to connect over LTE and other Wi-Fi networks.
