This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing OneText - One button SMS on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.

I wanted a way to let my wife know how often I think of her - One Text is perfect. In a meeting, tap "thinking of you..."; getting lunch, tap "thinking of you..."; rating One Text, tap "thinking of you..." :) I plan to keep it up until she's like "ok, ok, I get it". I'm sure I'll find more uses for both one and two tap texts :)

Brilliant, especially when I'm busy with baby or at work, I don't have to faff about typing out a text, I can just press a button and people get an instant message!

About this app

Now you can even send texts from your lock screen with one tap.

OneText allows you to save a text message to a button, and send that text message any time with one tap. And now there's the TwoText feature making the app even more versatile.

One button texting is here.

Simply assign the text message, contact, and choose an icon for any of the 9 home screen buttons. The lock screen and home screen widgets display your most important messages.

Any time you tap a button, the saved message will be sent to the contact as an SMS text message.

Examples of regularly sent SMS text messages you may want to use OneText for:

'Running late, sorry be there asap' to your workplace
'Be home soon' to family
'Love you, have a great day x' to your loved one
'On my way, see you soon' to a friend

The TwoText feature allows you to pre-type 8 messages and set them to personalised buttons, and send them to any of 5 pre-set contact buttons.

You can add a :-) or x to the end of each contacts messages if you wish.

Lock screen and home screen widgets make it super fast to send an important SMS text message in just a couple of seconds.

Are you typing the same SMS text messages every day? Next time you need to send a message count how many screen taps and button presses it takes! Save time, save your thumbs. One button, one message.

Note: Using a mobile phone whilst driving is dangerous. OneText should not be used whilst driving.

There are no restrictions to the SMS text messages you save in OneText, and there are over 200 colour, letter, number and image coded icons you can use for each button to make them easily identifiable.

You can see the SMS text messages you have sent appear in your usual texting app after they are sent.

This app will use your SMS text message allowance exactly the same way as sending an SMS text message through your usual app, or will incur your phone providers usual charges for SMS text messages if you have no free allowance.
