Uses your built in phone number. Looking for an alternative to the only FREE app. TextNow gives you a # usuable with a phone that's not even active. You just have to be on wifi but it will work on cellular too. Why would you restrict your app to use your cellular number? I know these developers can do better and cater to a huge market of people that want free wifi calling and text. By doing that and simply placing ads the new large userbase you acquire would make you substantially more
